These Questions Will Not Diaginose you, but will open your eyes to fact you may need help.
These are 10 questions to consider if you would benefit from a Freedom Group.
1. Have you ever thought you needed help for your sexual thinking or behavior?
2. Have you ever tried to stop or limit doing what you felt was wrong in your sexual behavior?
3. Do you resort to sex to excape, relieve anxiety, or because you can't cope?
4. Do you feel guilt, remorse, or depression afterwards?
5. Has your pursuit of sex became more compulsive?
6. Does it interfere with your relationship with your wife?
7. Do you have to resort to images or memories during sex?
8. Does your pursuit of sex make you careless for yourself or the welfare of your family or others?
9. Has your effectiiveness or concentration decreased as sex has become more compulsive?
10.Although your wife is sexually compatible, do you still masturbate or have sex with others?
If you answered yes even to a few of these questions, you are in danger of setting an addictive pattern of behavior, in motion, in your life.

Dr. Ted Roberts, former Marine fighter pilot, has struggled with addictions in his own life. It was through his attempts to break free through his own strength, and failing time after time, that he has started a program to help set people trapped in sexual addictions free.
It was through this program that the book, Pure Desire, was written. Pure Desire helps in the identification of addictions and outlines steps to set others free. Dr. Ted Roberts
Pastor Roberts came to the Lord as a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War. He was called to the Pastoral ministry after his return to the United States. He entered Seminary, completing his masters at Asbury Theological Seminary and his doctorate at Western Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in a multiplicity of ministries, from chairman of the theology department at a Bible college, staff pastor, director of a counseling ministry, to his present position as Senior Pastor of East Hill Foursquare Church in Gresham, Oregon. He is the author of Failing Forward, For Men Only: The Courageous Fight for Healthy Sexuality and Pure Desire. He is also a frequent speaker to various civic and business organizations ranging from the Oregon Bar Association to Boeing, and is in demand as a speaker both in the United States and around the world.
